Welcome to Sydney! Discover Australia's famous harbour city and capital of New South. Wales. Experience Sydney's natural beauty and culture around Sydney Harbour and the historic Rocks. Explore famous coastal beaches such as Bondi, Bronte, Coogee and Palm Beach. Bushwalk through Sydney Harbour National Park, dine at world-class restaurants, and visit the Blue Mountains. Join Sydney's vibrant events. On arrival at the Sydney airport you will clear customs and collect your bags. You will be met by the car rental representative who will take you to the car rental office. He will explain the vehicle details and explain to you the inclusions (GPS is not included) but you could get the GPS hired from the car rental person at an additional charge (payment direct). He will hand over the vehicle to you - Vehicle type: Standard Auto Group S – Toyota Corolla or similar for 9 days. You will self -drive from the airport to the Sydney hotel. Check in & freshen up. Today the day is free and easy for you to explore the place. Experience fine dining, opera, coastal walks and history. Do consider some of our recommendations below (at your own cost). Go backstage at the Sydney Opera House – Walk around Circular Quay and see why the Sydney Opera House continues to dazzle. With a varied and full program, the Opera House is one of the city’s busiest music, arts and performance venues. To learn about the inner workings of this icon, take a Backstage Tour. Climb the Iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge – The Sydney Harbour Bridge is a great engineering feat, originally opened in 1932. Visitors are free to walk or cycle across this vast structure that spans Sydney Harbour. Better yet, book one of the many Bridge Climb expeditions which will take you high into the superstructure. No special climbing skills are required – twilight and dawn climbs are great. Show Boat Dinner Cruise - You can also explore the evening dinner cruise and enjoy the show on the cruise. Sydney Seaplane: Enjoy the aerial view of the Sydney city and Bondi Beach by Sydney Seaplane flight. Capture the breathtaking views from the plane in your camera.
Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will drive through Newcastle and stop to surf at Nobby's Beach, swim at Bar Beach, hang – glide at Dixon Park or scuba dive the many wrecks near Newcastle Harbour (on your own). Relax with lunch (on your own) at a café along the boardwalk or at Queens Wharf, before heading to the vines of the Hunter Valley. The region has 120 wineries including established names like McGuigan, Tyrrell, Tulloch and Drayton. You can also explore the Hunter Valley Gardens. Overnight at a hotel in Hunter Valley. (B)
