You will be met by the car rental representative who will take you to the car rental office. He will explain the vehicle details and explain to you the inclusions (GPS is not included) but you could get the GPS hired from the car rental person at an additional charge (payment direct). He will hand over the vehicle to you - Vehicle type: Standard Auto Group S – Toyota Corolla or similar for 9 days. You will self -drive from the airport to the Sydney hotel. Check in & freshen up. Visitors are free to walk or cycle across this vast structure that spans Sydney Harbour. Better yet, book one of the many Bridge Climb expeditions which will take you high into the superstructure. No special climbing skills are required – twilight and dawn climbs are great. Show Boat Dinner Cruise - You can also explore the evening dinner cruise and enjoy the show on the cruise. Today you will drive through Newcastle and stop to surf at Nobby's Beach, swim at Bar Beach, hang – glide at Dixon Park or scuba dive the many wrecks near Newcastle Harbour (on your own). Relax with lunch (on your own) at a café along the boardwalk or at Queens Wharf, before heading to the vines of the Hunter Valley.
