DAY 1 Arrive in Geneva - Montreux

After arrival in Geneva, train transfer to Montreux check in at your hotel. Time to discover the city or stroll along the long, flower-bordered lake promenade all the way to Chillon Castle. Overnight at a hotel in Montreux.

DAY 2 Montreux: Excursion to Roches-de-Naye

Today you take the rack-railroad that starts from Montreux and continues past forests, meadows and rocks up to Rochers-deNaye, overcoming a difference in altitude of 1600m. Once one reaches the top, there is a panoramic view of the Swiss and French Alps. Take a hike before returning to Montreux. Overnight at a hotel in Montreux. (B)

DAY 3 Montreux – Zermatt

After breakfast you take the Rhone valley the train takes you up to the mountain resort of Zermatt at the foot of the Matterhorn. The car-free village has very well preserved its original character. Stroll along the main street and take your time to find some interesting souvenirs to take home. Overnight at a hotel in Zermatt. (B)

DAY 4 Zermatt: Excursion Gornergrat

Today the Gornergrat cog railway takes you to the summit at 3883 m in altitude and offers a fascinating panoramic view of the Matterhorn and summits of the Swiss, Italy and French Alps. If you wish you can hike down and get on board of the train only at the next station. Overnight at a hotel in Zermatt. (B)

DAY 5 Zermatt - St. Moritz- On board Glacier Express

In the morning get on board the world famous Glacier Express to St. Moritz, which crosses no less than 291 bridges and goes through 91 tunnels. During the journey a 3 course menu will be served at lunch time at your seat. After an exhilarating trip, you will arrive in St. Moritz, the often called Alpine metropolis with numerous luxury hotels and upscale shops, settled against the Alpine background of lakes and mountains. Overnight at a hotel in St. Moritz. (B, L)

DAY 6 St. Moritz – Lucerne

Today your journey through Switzerland takes you to the heart of Switzerland – the medieval old city of Lucerne. Whatever you might expect from a unique town, Lucerne certainly offers a generous diversity. Be it shopping in the Old Town, sailing on the lake or culinary delights on the banks of the River Reuss – Lucerne offers you whatever your heart desires. Overnight at a hotel in Lucerne. (B)

DAY 7 Lucerne: Excursion to Mt. Titlis

Today you leave Lucerne in the morning by train to get to the mountain resort of Engelberg. From here you start your trip to the top of Mount Titlis at 3020 M. It offers a sensational panoramic view, eternal snow and ice and the world’s first revolving gondola “Rotair”. The Titlis Glacier Park and the “Ice Flyer” chairlift are a paradise for those keen to glide down the slopes on the offered equipment (free of charge). Overnight at a hotel in Lucerne. (B)

DAY 8 Lucerne - Interlaken

Take your time to travel by train via the Brünig Pass to Interlaken – famous as movie sets for Bollywood movies! The village lies on an alluvial plain between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz and is presided over by the three mighty mountains Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. It is also the starting point for numerous activities such as hiking or paragliding. Overnight at a hotel in Interlaken. (B)

DAY 9 Interlaken: Excursion to Brienzer Rothorn

In the morning enjoy the train ride to Brienz, famous for its wood carver shops. From here the steam train takes about one hour to climb the 1,678 metres difference in height. The magnificent panoramic view of the Bernese and Central Swiss Alps, six diverse mountain hiking trails and the charming mountain hotel "Rothorn-Kulm" awaits the visitor on the mountain peak. Return to Lucerne by train. Overnight at a hotel in Interlaken. (B)

DAY 10 Interlaken: Excursion Jungfraujoch

Take the train from Interlaken to the Kleine Scheidegg at the foot of the famous Eiger. Change trains and ride via ‘Eiger Gletscher’ to the Jungfraujoch – the highest railway station in Europe at 3454 m with some breathtaking views of the Aletsch glacier at 22 km the longest in the Alps and an UNESCO World Heritage site. Overnight at a hotel in Interlaken. (B)

DAY 11 Interlaken – Geneva and departure

After breakfast journey back by train to the Geneva airport for your flight back home or onward destination.
