Chandrashila, also known as “Moon Rock” is situated right in the laps of the Himalayas at 12,200 ft. The summit offers exceptional views of the nearby mountain peaks such as Trishul (7,120m), Bandarpunch(6,316m), Nanda Devi(7,816m), Chaukhambha Peaks(7,138m), Hathi Parvat(6,727m), and many more.
Tungnath is the highest Lord Shiva Temple in the world and offers a deep insight into the legendary mythology of the Hindu scriptures. It is also a part of the Panch Kedars.
Deoriatal Lake is a high-altitude alpine lake surrounded by towering peaks, lush green forests and is famous among bird-watching communities. According To Hindu Mythology Is it believed that The Hindu Gods & Devas used to come and bathe in the lake.
• Reach Chopta around noon.
• Check-in to the camps, Freshen up, lunch will be
served.
• Acclimatize and later in the evening go for the
excursion.
• Dinner and overnight stay at camps.
• Wake up, have breakfast, and start your trek to
Tungnath and Chandrashila to get the mesmerizing
view of the sun rising from behind the mountains.
• From tungnath is a steep climb to Chandrashila. You
are now at Chandrashila peak which literally means
the 'moonrock‘.
• Spend your mesmerizing time at the Chandrashila
peak and later trek down to Chopta by evening.
• Have Dinner and overnight stay.
• Wake up, in between the mighty mountains, and
have breakfast.
• Later check out the camps and head towards Sari
village ( Starting point of Deoria Tal trek ).
• From Sari you will start your trek to Deorital, it’s a
trek of around 3 kms/1.5 hrs.
• Later come back by noon and then depart back to
Delhi with having mesmerizing views and loads of
unforgettable memories with you.
Reach Delhi in the morning.
