Upon arrival at Delhi Airport/Railway station on your own we drive to Haridwar, on arrival at Haridwar check in into the Hotel. Later visit to the Har- ki- Pauri and revel in Ganga Aarti in the Evening, back to hotel forΒ Overnight at hotel in Haridwar. (D)
Depart from Haridwar early morning and stop for lunch on the way to Mussoorie . Continue your journey and reach Barkot in the Evening after visiting Kempty falls on the way. On arrival check in to the hotel,Β Dinner and Overnight at Hotel in Barkot. (B, D)
Drive to Jankichatti / Phoolchatti, trek start from here to Yamunotri (6kms). Either by walk or by horse or by Doli at own cost. Arrive Yamunotri, One can cook rice by packing it in a cloth and dipping it in the hot water of the hot kund. Pilgrims take this cooked rice home as "Prasad". Here near the temple "Puja" can be offered to Divya Shila: a rock pillar, worshiped before entering the Yamunotri Temple built by Maharani Gularia of Jaipur in the 19th Century. There are a Number of thermal springs in the vicinity of the temple, which flows into numerous pools. The most important of these is Surya Kund .After taking a bath in Jamunabai Kund's warm water and having "Darshan '' of pious "Yamunaji '' return to Jankichatti. Later drive back to Barkot.Β Overnight at a hotel in Barkot. (B, D)
After breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi visiting enroute Prakateshwar Cave. Arrive at Uttarkashi at the bank of river Bhagirathi. The temple of Lord Vishwanath is located here where a massive iron trident is erected. Check in at the Hotel. In the evening visit Vishvanath Temple,Β Overnight at hotel in Uttarkashi. (B, D)
Early Morning drive to Gangotri (3048 mts), enjoying enroute picturesque Harsil village, Bhagirathi River and the most magnificent view of the Himalayas. Visit Gangotri Temple an 18th Century, 20 ft high exquisite white granite structure dedicated to Goddess Ganga. It is located near a sacred stone where king Bhagirath worshiped Lords Shiva. Revel at the Submerged Shivling, natural rock where, according to mythology Lord Shiva sat when he received the Ganga in his matted lock. It is visible in winter months when water level decreases. Kedar Ganga Sangam: Around 100 Yards from the Ganga Temple flows the river Kedar Ganga. Starting from the Kedar Valley, this river meets the Bhagirathi on its left bank. After Gangotri Darshan we return to Uttarkashi.Β Overnight at hotel in Uttarkashi. (B, D)
After breakfast drive to Rishikesh. Visit the Tihri dam on the way. Arrive at Haridwar Overnight at hotel in Haridwar. (B, D)
After Breakfast Drive to Delhi, On Arrival at Delhi transfer to Airport/Railway Station/Dropping point for your onward journey back home. (B)
