After breakfast in the hotel, start your day by visiting: Ho Chi Minh Museum & Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh Houses-on-stilts, which tells the life story of the great leader, as well as serves as his final resting place. One Pillar Pagoda, one of the oldest architectures dated back from the 11th century. It rises on  one pillar from the middle of a square lotus pond. Legend has it that  Ly Thai Tong had a dream vision of Quan Am sitting on a lotus flower and promising him a male child. Thus, he had this pagoda built, itself sitting on a pond like a giant flower on its tall stem.Continue the city tour with the Temple of Literature- the first university in Vietnam. In the afternoon, visit the Ethnology Museum, which gives an excellent overview of the country's ethnic groups, their customs and ways of life. The beautiful grounds display original old houses from many different ethnic groups. Then, back to Hanoi Center, spend time visiting Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple and enjoy the Water Puppet Show. Then we will have a walking tour to visit Old Quarters and Dong Xuan Market. Overnight in Hanoi (B)

We have breakfast at our hotel in Hanoi before heading out to HaLong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In Hanoi we board one of our luxury Vietnamese sampans for an overnight boat cruise amongst the more than 3000 limestone islands and rocks rising majestically out of the turquoise bay. We pass grand rock formations and quaint fishing towns, and sample a delicious buffet made up of freshly caught fish and seafood.In the afternoon we visit the small floating fishing village of Vung Vieng and are offered a choice of other interesting activities: a food carving and cooking class with our master chef on board, an optional traditional massage, a kayaking trip or, weather permitting, a refreshing swim. We end the day with a spectacular set-menu gastronomic dinner; steamed crab in tamarind sauce, fresh squid, giant prawns and delicious mussels are just a few of the many possibilities.Before heading to our luxurious cabin and beds, and if we are in the right season, we can see the crew fishing for our lunch the next day. We start our day with calming Tai Chi or an optional massage on the sun deck. We pass beautiful spots such as Trong, Trinh Nu and the Me Cung Caves, and get a chance to explore the Surprise Cave ourselves before our buffet brunch on board.Afterwards, transfer directly to the Noi Bai airport in Ha Noi to take the evening flight to Ho Chi Minh city. After an early breakfast in hotel, depart to Cu Chi tunnel, which is 22 miles northwest of the city.Here you will have the opportunity to witness how rice paper is made and to explore the amazing labyrinth of tunnels used by the guerrillas during the war. Have lunch at a local restaurant.Return to Ho Chi Minh city then have a half-day city tour of dynamic Ho Chi Minh City. Then visit the War Museum, Reunification Palace, Notre Dam Theatre, General Post Office, Ben Thanh market and the bustling Chinatown have dinner at a restaurant. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City (B,L,D)

Breakfast in a hotel and take a full day excursion to Mytho, where the Mekong river flows. You will enjoy a leisurely cruise on the Mekong river through Thoi Son island via small beautiful canals. You will walk along a small village road to visit a fruit garden, elementary school, spirits distilling house, fish catching by tackle and see the daily life of villagers. Rowing boats cruise along wonderful canals to visit orchards and the houses of local people. Enjoy some of tropical fruits and traditional music show then boat cruise to tortoise island to have lunch at a local restaurant. Visit a coconut candy workshop. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City. (B,L)

After breakfast the day is at leisure and transfer to the airport as per your flight timing for your journey back home. (B)
